Lord, thank you for your persevering presence throughout our time of loss.
Even though we mourn, we don’t lose heart at the passing of our beloved into presence.
Our current grief and afflictions are producing an eternal glory with which nothing can compare. We lift our eyes to you and fix sight on eternity, just as the earthly body of our loved one failed, and everything around us will eventually pass away. Yet you renew our soul, day by day. We fix our eyes on what is unseen and eternal…AMEN!
Robert would like to let you know that his work here is done. He received a call a sort of an offer you cannot refuse, for ran appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on-bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a very long time.
P.S. To all my loved ones left behind, I love you all and I will see you very soon.
Say not in grief that he is no more but live with thankfulness that he was.
The family has entrusted Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights, IL with cremation arrangements. Inurnment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
