

Robert worked as a machinist for over 40 years and was proud to be a member of Local 777 International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. He enjoyed RC Flyers and had a passion for flying planes. Robert loved to fish and ride his Harley. He found joy in being with his loving family. One of his proudest moments was teaching his son to become a machinist. Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Clay and Daphna Lafern, nee Brannon, Craft, Sr.; his brother Larry Craft and his sister Dianna Roberts.
Surviving is his loving wife, Anna Smith-Craft; sons Jason Craft and Gary (Valarie) Smith, Jr., daughters Michelle Renee (Ray) Turner, Tina (Jack) Barrett and Tanya (Adam) Cochran; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sister Linda Craft. Friends may call from 10-1:00 p.m., Monday, April 6th, 2015 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Hopewell Cemetery in Hopewell, Missouri.
