

Robert Lewis Hart Sr., better known as Rusty, 89, of Mascoutah, Illinois, born, December 14, 1926 in Whitehall, Illinois, died on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Terrace On The Park Nursing Home in Mascoutah, Illinois.
Rusty was a loveable person who spent a lot of his time being fascinated with reading books, and enjoying watching old Western classics. He was an avid squirrel and rabbit hunter, and a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Rusty served as a life-long member in the Moose Lodge #1370 in Collinsville, Illinois. Rusty also served his country in the Marines during World War II, where he was honorably discharged. He enjoyed his quiet time as well, but most of all spending quality time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Charlene Greer.
Surviving are his son, Robert (Helen) Hart, Jr.; daughters, Sharon (James) Walker and Marion Fulbright; stepchildren, Bob (Becky) Piker, John (Mary) Piker, and Vernie (Genetta) Piker; two siblings, Billy and Sally; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held immediately after visitation beginning at 2 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2016 at Lake View Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
