Sang-Man moved from Ishikawa-Ken to Kuwana-Shi Mie-Ken, Japan when he was two or three years old. Sang-Man attended Kuwana-Shi Dai-Shen primary school from 1938 - 1944; in June 1946, his family moved to Korea during his third year at Kuwana Junior High School; Sang-Man served in Korean Army from 1951 to 1953 (Korean War from 1950 - 1953); Sang-Man graduated from Busan Technical High School in Korea in 1955. Sang-Man married his late wife, Chen-Yi Park, on December 24, 1950. In his adult life in Korea, Sang-Man worked as a textile dying specialist for managing and blending dye chemicals for Dong-Duk Chemical Company; worked as a project manager who oversaw part of a ship’s building process with Shin-Hung Building Company; worked as a supply manager for Boo-Kyung Construction Company. In March 1985, Sang-Man immigrated to the USA with his wife and settled in O’Fallon, Illinois. Sang-Man was a hard-working man who enjoyed his family, golfing, fishing, and gardening.
Preceding him in death are his: parents, Jong-Soo Park, and Jong-Chil Cho; sister Soon-Duk Park; wife, Chen-Yi Park.
Left to remember Sang-Man are his: brothers, Bok-Man Park, Boo-Won Park; children, Yang-Lei (Glenn) Park, Lin (Mi-Ra) Park, Min (Jong-Ae) Park, and Kwan (Jin-Young) Park; grandchildren: Sarah, Erica, Daniel, Connie, Andy, Timothy, Jasmine, Jennifer, Jessica; and many other loved ones who are in Korea.
