Sharon Kassly

She was preceded in death by her father, William Randle Dyer, who died in La Centre, KY; and an infant sister. Mrs. Kassly was a member of the 1965 graduating class at East St. Louis High School.

Sharon is survived by her mother, Catherine Louise, nee Morrow, Dyer of Belleville, IL; her husband of 44 years, Joe Kassly, Jr.; 2 daughters Lori (Joe) Roosevans of Troy, IL and Amy Louise Kassly of Fairview Heights, IL; one grandson who was the love of her life, Aidan Joseph Roosevans of Troy, IL; 3 brothers, Terry (Sandy) Dyer of St. Jacob, IL, Ray (Cheryl) Dyer of Troy, IL and Allen (Stacy) Dyer of Troy, IL; one sister, Gayle (Larry) Bumb of O’Fallon, IL; 3 lifelong friends, Carol Sue (Smith) Rossi, Peggy (Woods) Boze, and Patty (Moore) Karraker; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL with Rev. Charles West officiating. A private committal service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
