

Wanda worked as an independent contractor for Calvin Klein fragrances, with Macy’s in South County, St. Louis, Missouri. She enjoyed the outdoors; planting gardens, flowers, and mowing the lawn. She was an avid reader and enjoyed Sci-Fi movies. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Don Charles DuBois, in 1969; her parents, Earl and Louise, nee Hunter, Frisbee; two brothers, Earl Leon Frisbee and Dennis Frisbee; and a sister, JoAnn Huddleston.
Surviving to cherish her memory are, her loving husband of 37 years, James E. Matney, Jr., of Belleville, Illinois; her children, Don (Mary) DuBois, of Swansea, Illinois, Margaret Blazquez, of Belleville, Illinois, and James David (Nicole) Matney, Sr., of O’Fallon, Illinois; her grandchildren, Don, Misty, Elizabeth, James David, Jr., Amerie, Isabella, Quincy, Xavier, and Olivia; a brother, Tom (Lisa) Marrone, of Belleville, Illinois; a sister, Mary Margaret Marrone, of Greensboro, North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Cari Frus officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
