We lost a little bluebird
She's gone home faraway.
To be with all the others
We miss more and more each day.
With eyes so blue,
And a smile so bright
You were our angel,
Our baby, our girl, our light.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
Thought it broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone
For part of us went with you today when God called you home.
You left us many memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you will always be by our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
So fly bluebird fly, for this is only true
We'd give up our tomorrows
For Just one more yesterday with you.
