GILBERT JOHN SANTORO, age 88, passed away on December 22, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann Santoro (nee Polakowski). Dear father of Michael (Michelle), Maureen, and Mark (Kimberly). Loving grandfather of Samantha, Sequoia, Jackson, and Angelina. Dear brother of Richard Santoro, Lori Santoro, and the late David Santoro. U.S. Army Veteran. He received his PhD from Case and retired after many years from NASA where he worked on the Space Shuttle. Mass of Christian burial Wednesday, December 29 at 11:30am in St. Angela Merici Church, 20970 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, OH. Internment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Family will receive friends in the Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home; 20820 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, OH Tuesday, December 28, from 4-8pm.
