Mark and I grew up together in Sayler Park. I rushed the same fraternity as Mark, Alpha Ta Omega. My most sincere condolences to the family..

Mark was part of my CCDHS family. I loved him for his integrity, principles and spirit.  Most of all I admired his dedication to his sons. He was so very proud of his family.

I was shocked to read of Mark's passing in the Plain Dealer on Friday. Heaven has gained a soul with a dry sense of humor, high ethics, a caring heart and a smile you will never forget here on earth. He will be sorely missed. I had the privilege of working with Mark in what was called the FairWorks/JOBS Program in Cuyahoga County. Mark you will be sadly missed and you will be able to enjoy and lead Indy Racing Pit Stops up in Heaven. May God continue to guide and bless your soul. My prayers are for the family and wish you laughter in the moments of your memories with him as your comfort during this difficult time.

Mark Woodworth was a man who's integrity, character and decency knew no bounds. I was highly privileged to know him, work with him, learn from him, and call him my friend. He truly made the world a better place. 

...I saw him do it with my own eyes.

  I was very saddened to read about Mark's passing in the Cincinnati paper. As you remember, I worked with both you and Mark at Cuyahoga County Children Services. Mark was my deskmate.  You and Mark and your children came and stayed with me several years ago so your kids could go to King's Island. I have alot good memories of Mark and always enjoyed his dry sense of humor. Mark was one of the first friends I made when coming to the Child Welfare dept, in 1975. Those cases made you laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time. When I ran for law director, Mark campaigned and covered more neighborhoods than any other supporter...I'm forever grateful...Mary Jo and boys, I share your loss.
