NANCY JO GALLAGHER (nee Skaggs), age 87, loved by many and "Grandma" to everyone she met, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026. Beloved wife of the late James; loving Mother of James Anthony (Dawn) and Maura Ann Schlegel (Steven); dear grandmother of Anthony Gallagher and Michael Schlegel (Fiancée Taylor); sister of James Skaggs (Pat), Dee Anna Kumpar (Stephen), Dean Skaggs (Lydia), preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Mary (nee Sutton) Skaggs, and siblings Peggy Skaggs and Bobby Skaggs; aunt and great aunt of many. Retired from Lakewood Hospital.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be forwarded to St. Mel Church, or Friends of Hawks Nest State Park Foundation, Inc. (P. O. Box 385, Ansted, WV 25812).
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, March 14, at 10:00 AM, in St. Mel Church, 14436 Triskett Rd. Please meet at church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
