WILLIAM J. BLATT (Bill) passed away April 17, 2016 at the age of 97. Most beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth (nee Betty Trotter). Extraordinarily cherished and loved Dad of Mary Ellen, special friend of Melissa McMullen, and his very best friend, basset hound Abbey. Bill served in the United States Army at Normandy Beach on D-day plus one. He is a 35 year retiree of the East Ohio Gas Co (Dominion Gas). He was a Cleveland Indians fan, loved model trains, building model boats, Christmas, and most of all traveling to Las Vegas. Bill will forever be remembered for his sturdiness, strength, and resilience during good times and challenging times, our quiet hero.
