Andre P. Racine

He was born in Willimantic, CT, the son of the late Phillipe and Rachel (Talbot) Racine. Mr. Racine was a manager of several Motels and Inns in the Boston area and prior to that worked in the former A&P Supermarket in Fall River. He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II and an avid golfer.

He is survived by two brothers; Marcel Racine of Shrewsbury, MA and Raymond Racine of Miami, FL, two sisters; Sr. Rachel Phillipe of Newport, RI and Madeleine Theroux of Beeville, TX and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Joan Jones, Lillian LaChapelle, Antoinette Canuel, Murielle Caisse, Terry Janson and Fernand, Roger and Normand Racine.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 7:30AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by his funeral mass at 9AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Visitation will be Saturday from 7:30AM to 8:30AM prior to his mass. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his honor may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny, 7 Restmere Ter., Middletown, RI 02842. Burial will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
