

Constance M. (Wells) Barillaro, “Connie,” age 84, of Fall River, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Charles A. Wells Sr. and Mary C. (Lahey) Wells, she lived in Connecticut for many years before moving back to Fall River.
A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Class of 1954, she was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. She worked at Chawicks of Boston and at DeKnatel for many years.
She was a member of the Money Clovers Investment Club. An avid reader, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and was a Boston Red Sox fan. She also liked taking annual Bus trips to New Hampshire with her dear friends. Her favorite times spent were with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She always looked forward to family get togethers and cookouts.
She is survived by three children, Sharon A. Raposa and her husband Ronald Raposa of Dartmouth, Matthew C. Barillaro and James V. Barillaro both of Fall River; five grandchildren, Keith Raposa, Jessica Barillaro, Matthew Barillaro Jr., Charlene Barillaro and Jamie Barillaro; one great-granddaughter, Ava Scarlet Raposa and nieces Stephanie Sousa and Kira Feliciano and nephews Michael Wells and Ryan Sousa . She was the loving grandmother of the late Katherine Raposa and sister of the late Charles Wells Jr.
