Jeanne D. Luciano

Jeanne D. (Gauthier) Luciano, age 58, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 at St. Anne's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of her high school sweetheart George M. Luciano to whom she has been married to for the past forty years.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of Omer Gauthier of Fall River and the late Cecile (Phenix) Gauthier, she had been a lifelong resident of the city.

She was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, class of 1975. Besides being a homemaker, she worked at various jobs in the city. She was an avid camper, camping at Normandy Farms in Foxboro for 25 years. She loved animals, traveling, and the New England Patriots. She loved and cherished her family.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two sons: Christopher Luciano and his wife Sharleen of Chatham, MA, Jason Luciano of Fall River, one daughter: Karen Sainz and her husband Hugo of Fall River, one brother: Robert Gauthier of Fall River, one sister: Jacqueline Hughes and her husband Gary of Assonet, MA, one granddaughter: Melina Sainz, one grandson: Christopher "CJ" Luciano Jr., mother-in-law: Angela Luciano, brother-in-laws: Toby, Mike, and Carlos Luciano, nieces and nephews: Lauren and Dawn Hughes, Jamie Luciano, Jessica Baker, Stephanie Levrault, and the late Lindsey Luciano and cousin Linda Bocskovits. She is also survived by her dog Penny and the late Gizma.

Her Funeral will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 9:00AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Michael’s Church, 189 Essex St., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00PM. Contributions in her honor may be made to American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St, 2nd Floor, Framingham, MA 01701. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
