

Linda “Sareth” Vann, age 57, of Fall River, MA passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2025, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Kampot, Cambodia, she was the daughter of the late Ek Chut and Phan Noun, she was a longtime resident of Fall River.
She was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and cherished friend.
Linda was a truly remarkable woman, known for her unwavering kindness, strength, and compassion. As a single mother, she poured her heart into raising her children, making countless sacrifices to ensure they felt loved, supported, and secure. Her love was fierce and unconditional—she was their biggest champion and most constant source of comfort.
Family meant everything to Linda. She lit up around her grandchildren and great-grandchild, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Her home was filled with warmth, joy, and the comforting smells of her cooking. Cooking was her love language—she found true joy in preparing meals for the people she loved, and her food brought everyone together. She was the steady, loving presence at the center of her family—the one who held everyone together.
Linda’s care extended far beyond her family. She was a devoted and thoughtful friend, always ready with a kind word, a listening ear, or a helping hand. Her friendships were lifelong and deeply cherished. She made people feel seen, valued, and loved, and in return, she was adored by many.
She was brave, strong, and resilient—a true survivor who carried herself with quiet strength through every chapter of her life. Her kindness, courage, and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Linda’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched. She will be remembered not only for the love she gave but for the light she brought into the world. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by five children, Veasna San and his partner Champ Thou of Stratford, CT, Juney San of Fortville, IN, Mondayaney San of Fall River, MA, Mayoer Vann of Fall River, MA and Corina Vann and her partner Jordan Teixeira of Fall River, MA; six grandchildren, Serenity, Amiyrah, Aviyannah, Jerrilyn, Iroh, and Athoro; great-granddaughter, Zaylee; Fiancé, Sokhom Ou of Fall River, MA; one brother Phat Suon of Kampot, Cambodia, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Neary San.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Swan Point Chapel of Hope and Memory, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, RI. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held prior to her service from 8:15 to 9:15 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River.
