Lionel Cadieux

Born in Fall River, a son of the late Wilfred and Mabel Cadieux, he was a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Cadieux was a technician for the former Hascon Corporation in Taunton for many years, retiring in 1986. A United States Navy Veteran, he served during World War II. He loved tractors and owned several, enjoyed his computer, his moped and working in his vegetable garden.

Surviving: 5 Cadieux sons: David of Berkley, Denis of Assonet, Douglas J. of Swansea, Daniel of Lakeville, Dean P. of E. Providence, 3 daughters: Debra A. Cadieux of Fall River, Donna M. Faria of Stonington, CT, Denise M. Cadieux of Fall River, 2 brothers: Albert Cadieux of Fall River, Normand Cadieux of Clearwater, FL, 1 sister: Jeannette Arsenault of Fall River, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was father of the late Donald Cadieux.

His funeral will be held Wednesday April 6, 2011 at 8:15 AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by a funeral mass at 9:30 AM in St. George’s Church, 12 Highland Ave., Westport. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7 PM. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
