

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. Woodward, Jr., and Claire E. (Walsh) Woodward.
Lyn was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School and Fisher College. She worked as a peer-to-peer counselor and an office assistant at NAMI RI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill). She also had worked as an operating room technician at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Lyn was a blood donor at the Rhode Island Blood Bank, an active advocate for NAMI RI, and was a Tiverton High School Boosters’ Club Member for many years.
Survivors include her children, Timothy P. Gacioch (wife Kathleen) of Palm Bay, FL; Andrew L. Gacioch II (wife Sandra) of Tiverton, RI; and Tara A. Gacioch (fiancé Brian Hitte) of West Warwick, RI. She was the proud “Nana” of James Ward and David DeCosta of West Warwick, RI; Stephen, Matthew, and Samantha Gacioch of Tiverton, RI; and Lauren and Sean Gacioch of Palm Bay, FL; brothers, Francis W. Woodward of Needham, MA, William F. Woodward of Middletown, RI; sisters, Gail E. Hayden of Swansea; Pat A. Woodward of Middletown, RI; and Joan F. Woodward of Fall River, MA. She was predeceased by brother, Charles W. Woodward, III, and sisters, Carla A. Williams and Donna M. Woodward. She is also
survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9, at 1:00 PM at Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River, MA. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. prior to the service.
