

Patricia L. Pacheco, “Patsy,” age 82, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday April 15, 2026, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Antone and Mamie (Miranda) Pacheco, she was a lifelong resident of the city.
Patsy was very happy living at HMEA/Advocates, where she truly loved her housemates and caregivers, who provided her with excellent care over the years. She was deeply loved by everyone who knew her—her constant happiness and warm spirit made a lasting impression. Patsy especially loved her coffee, and yours if left unattended, which was one of her simple daily joys.
She was also a dedicated member of Community Connections for over twenty-five years, where she cherished spending time with her many friends. A huge thank you goes out to all the staff that took care of Patsy while she was at CCI.
In addition to her many friends and caregivers, she is survived by her guardian Robert Hebda and caregiver Brian Brisson. We would also like to give a thank you to Maria Dos Santos Cande who has taken care of Patsy for the last several years and Giving Patsy the best life possible. We would also like to say thank you to Filpa Couto and Jesse Hicks for their unwavering nursing care and support.
To the staff at Border City there is to many staff present and former to list THANK YOU for making Patsy’s life as enjoyable as it was. Remember the funny memories she leaves you with today.
Her visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by her funeral service at 10:00AM in the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
