Robert Noiseux, age 71, of Westport, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St. Anne’s Hospital on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. He was the husband of Janice (Costa) Noiseux to whom he has been married for the past 45 years.
Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Juliette “Yvonne” (Berube) Noiseux and stepson of the late Louise Noiseux.
Bob was a simple and honest man. His life was lived with God and his family. He also loved and appreciated his country and was proud of the time he served in the United States Army. He worked in the trucking industry all his life. He enjoyed vacation time, Sunday dinners and Patriot game family days.
Bob was an active member of St. John the Baptist Church where he served as Eucharistic Minister and volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister at Charlton Memorial Hospital for 25 years. He was also an active member of the Men of the Sacred Heart and assisted in the Enthronement of many families to the Sacred Heart.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kevin Noiseux of Westport, Robert Noiseux and his wife Rebecca of Westport; one sister Gloria Pacheco of Taunton and many nieces and nephews.
He will be missed, remembered and loved by his family until they meet again.
The family would like to thank Dr. John Yang and the staff at St. Anne’s Hospital for their love and care. The family also would like thank all the priests and their friends that surrounded them and upheld them with prayers.
His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 9:30AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM in St. John the Baptist Church, 945 Main Rd., Westport, MA. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Contributions in his honor may be made to the St. John the Baptist Church, 945 Main Rd., Westport, MA 02790 or to the Catholic Appeal, 450 Highland Ave., Fall River, MA 02720. Burial in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
