

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Henry and Diana (Caron) Bellefeuille, she was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Guillemette worked as a seamstress at Kim and Jim for 20 years, Nancy Dress for several years and Rochelle Sportswear before retiring in 1988. A lifelong member of Sodality of St. Anne’s, she was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, and was a lifetime member of the East End Sportsman Club Auxiliary in Fall River.
A communicant of the former Notre Dame Church now St. Bernadette’s Church; she was Den Mother of their Boy Scout Troop 15. Mrs. Guillemette enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, doing puzzles, and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by one son; Alfred H. “Fred” Guillemette and his wife Mary of Lincoln, RI, daughter-in- law; Priscilla Guillemette of New Bedford, three grandchildren; Melissa Chouinard and her husband Heath, Amy Cavanaugh and her husband Ron, Matthew Guillemette, and seven great-grandchildren; Emma and Liam Cavanaugh, Owen and Andrew Brown, Delaney and Jacob Chouinard, and Chevy Guillemette. She was mother of the late Ronald A. Guillemette and sister of the late Henriette “Rita” Dowling.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday October 09, 2015 at 9:00AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Bernadette’s Church, 529 Eastern Avenue, Fall River. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Contributions in her honor may be made to Grace Episcopal Church Food Pantry, 133 School St., New Bedford, MA 02740. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
