Born in New York, she was a lifelong resident of Fall River and was the daughter of Julia (McGowan) Ryan and the late Francis H. Ryan, Sr.
Terry worked as an Insurance Agent for Aetna, which later became Traveler’s Insurance for 40 years before her retirement.
She was very active in several Catholic Church choirs.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her nieces, Megan Ribeiro and her husband Michael of Fall River and Kerry Girard and her husband David of Westport; nephews, Michael Ryan of Fall River and Timothy Ryan and his wife Judy of Plymouth; one brother, John Ryan and his wife Lorna of Englewood, FL as well as several great-nieces and nephews. Terry was predeceased by her siblings, Francis H. Ryan, Jr. and Maureen Coté.
Her Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 8:45-9:45 AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Friends and relatives are invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry’s honor may be made to, Fall River Kidney Center, 48 Weaver St., Fall River, MA 02720.
