

Born in Methuen, MA, the daughter of the late Henry W. and Catherine (Murray) Donahue, she had been a resident of Clearwater, FL for many years. She was a graduate of Emmanuel College in Boston, class of 1949.
Ms. Donahue had a successful career as an IBM Executive for 30 years, retiring in 1984. During her time at IBM, Gin oversaw the banking installation in Europe for 2 years. She also worked for Mitre Co. in Boston.
While in Clearwater, she was a member of the council at St. Brendan’s Church and served on various town boards. She was a member of Zonta, an international organization of business executives that promote the advancement of women. In her leisure time, she enjoyed travelling, was an accomplished pianist and an avid golfer.
Her family includes many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Henry A. Donahue and James M. Donahue.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 12-2 pm in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River, MA. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10 am in St. Agnes Church, 51 Medford St., Arlington, MA followed by burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Greater Boston Food Bank, 70 S Bay Ave., Boston, MA 02118.
