Winifred E. (Childs) Brilliant, age 81 of Fall River passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Fall River. She was the wife of the late George Brilliant.
Born in Hyannis, MA, the daughter of the late Harry F. Childs and Esther G. Jennings and step-daughter of the late Joseph Jennings, Sr. Mrs. Brilliant has been a lifelong resident of the city and a 1951 graduate of BMC Durfee High School. She was employed as a Sewing Machine Operator for the former Anderson Little for 28 years until her retirement in 1992.
She is survived by a sister; Ada M. Biello of Fall River and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Elliott and Joseph Jennings, Jr.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11am in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7PM. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
