

Alfred was born in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija, Philippines to Emilio and Elena Embuscado on April 15, 1939. He graduated from Philippine college of commerce in Manila. He married Victoria Embuscado on July 19, 1970 in Manila, Philippines. Shortly after their honeymoon in Osaka, Japan they relocated to the states in October of 1970 were he continued his Navy career and start their family.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Navy for 20 years as a programmer. He worked as an IT programmer for IRS for 11 years before retiring.
He had many hobbies which included his love of cooking, art painting, gardening, dancing, and going to the casino. His overall passion was hosting parties for family and friends and spending quality time spoiling his grandchildren. He was involved in the Filipino community and served as past vice president for Progressive Alliance of Filipinos and American Inc. better known as PAFAI. Among other things, he was also a religious man who went to church and prayed the rosary on a daily bases. For those who knew him, he was a generous person went it came to helping anyone in need. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Alfred is preceded in death by half siblings Loreto Embuscado De Belen, Virginia Embuscado Dizon, Jorge Embuscado, Consuelo Embuscado
Tolman, siblings Ceferina Embuscado Carlos, Pilar Garcia Emata and Rodrigo Embuscado.
Alfred is survived by his spouse Victoria Embuscado, son Mark Embuscado, daughter-in-law Lesley Embuscado, daughter Michelle Curz, and son-in law Norman Cruz, 7 grandchildren: Alexi Cruz, Madison Embuscado, Javen Cruz, Rylan Cruz, Ava Embuscado, Lilliana Embuscado, Aiden Cruz, and 2 sisters Josefina Embuscado De-Chat and Emilia Solis.
Pallbearers will be Norman Cruz, Arnel Embuscado, Eric Embuscado, Ambrose Alcala, Reden Cordero, Ramon Daguiso, Renato Daguiso, and Carlos Gay-Gay
The family of Alfred wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Dr.’s of INOVA Fairfax and Loudoun Hosptial, Dr.'s of John Hopkins Hospital, Dr's of Northern Virginia Hospital, nurses and staff of Johnson Center Falcons Landing, nurses and staff of Vitas Health Care.
Visitation will be 4:00pm - 8:00pm Thursday, December 29th at National Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am Friday December 30th, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Matthew.
Burial will follow at National Memorial Park. Arrangements are by National Funeral Home.
