Barry was born on September 9, 1986 and he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, September 3, 2018. He is survived by a very large family and hundreds of friends from all over the country; by his loving parents, Barry and Kelly Mountain, his brothers and sisters: Wes and Megan Mountain, Brad and Erin Mountain, Kara Mountain and Matthew Wellman and his precious Godson and nephew, Reed Mountain, and beautiful niece, Andie Mountain. BT also leaves his Grandfather, Barry Francis Mountain II, and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins, whom he loved so much. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Emily Mountain and his grandparents, Thomas and Patricia Holley. Barry was a retired firefighter, having proudly served within the Arlington County Fire Department in several capacities for five years, and he served as a volunteer firefighter for Prince William County Fire as well. BT was a kind and caring soul, and he loved serving and helping others—always with a smile on his face. He lived by his creed of “Family, Country, Service” and he followed it until the very end. Barry knew no strangers and was a friend to all—He will be sorely missed as everyone loved BT.
