On Sunday, May 1, 2016 of Vienna, Va. The daughter of the late Rufus and Erma Sliger. She is survived by her niece, Dolly Russ and her husband, Charlie; great nephews D.J. Russ (Kathryn) and Cory Russ; great-great niece Bridget; great-great nephews Kevin, Brenden and Evan Russ; and cousin Evelyn Ruby Thomas of Ohio. She also leaves behind many close friends. Preceded in death by sister, Esther Towsey and her husband, Bill Tully. Friends may call at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1102 West Broad St., (Rt. 7), Falls Church on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 10 to 11 a.m. the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at National Memorial Park.
