Carol was born in Washington DC to Milton Earle Koerner Sr and Helen Elizabeth Koerner on November 18th, 1958. She went to school in Arlington VA. and graduated from Washington & Lee High School.
She worked for the Federal Government for 23 years. She was in the Navy Reserves for 8 years.
Carol is preceded in death by her father Milton Earle Koerner Sr and her mother Helen Elizabeth Koerner.
Carol is survived by her brother Milton Earle Koerner Jr, her nephew Michael Koerner, her cousin Sheree Devaughn, her lifelong companion Danial McKenzie, her sister in-law Maryann Koerner and three grandnephews and two grandnieces.

Funeral services will be held at1pm Thursday May 4th at National Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Reynolds of Capital Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery.
