We have so many wonderful memories of Rocky.  He was a sweet, considerate and loving person.   He and Gary were friends since childhood and spent much of their time growing up together so much that he was considered as one of the family.   He was his very best friend.  

When we were growing up we would ride the bus to 7 Corners for 25 cents and spend the day shopping.   If we didn’t have enough money we would cash in soda bottles until we had enough money.   We always looked forward to the circus coming to town.  It would be on the farm up from our house.  Needless to say he did not like the elephants!   

He adored our Mom’s cooking, especially her chow mein and would always be invited to dinner.   We spent endless hours together and even introduced me to my wife Robin almost 50 years ago.    If it had not been for Rocky I would never have met my wife.  

We spent countless hours together and had many adventures.   A group of us would go to Rene’s one of Rocky’s favorite places.  Myself, Robin, Rocky and Karen along with some of our family would dance.   We loved Elvis and would buy every record that was produced.  We were fortunate to see Elvis in concert.  

I could go on forever.  This has been a hard loss for us and we recently had been talking and looking forward to seeing each other when he was feeling better.    

We will never forget Rocky and will miss him dearly.  



Wow Rocky you were a very strong person/friend/family member!! I remember being there for your first kidney transplant,  you pulled through with NO problems! That’s just the man you were not going to let anything get you down!!  
I will always remember you as the best Elvis impersonator I know! You sounded just like him.  However my best memory is when we would all get together at your house on the weekends and of course you would sing, somehow you and I started to sing “Islands in the stream” duet, you were Kenny and I was Dolly! 😀 You will always be my Kenny Rogers! I will miss you terribly! RIP Rocky! I can hear you in heaven singing with Elvis and him telling you “Damn you do sound like me” Lol  Gone but never forgotten!!🙏🏻💔😢❤️ 


Rocky was a role model for me. He was a man that was full of positive energy and was always putting his family first. He opened his home to me and gave me some insight on how family and love felt. I am the man today from the influences of Rocky. I just wish I told him this directly myself. He will be missed but he will always live in my heart.
