Hưởng thọ 71 tuổi

Vì lý do Covid19 và nhà quàng có giới hạn, nên không có thăm viếng. Tuy nhiên, sẽ có lễ hạ huyệt vào ngày Thứ Bảy, 23 tháng 1, 2021 từ lúc 2:00 giờ tới 3:00 giờ chiều tại nghĩa trang National Memorial Park Cemetery, Falls Church, Virginia. Chúng tôi không nhận hoa và cúng biếu. Chỉ mong mọi người hiệp sủc’ đọc kinh cầu nguyện cho linh hồn Đa Minh sớm về hưởng thiên nhang chúa.

Chinh Van Nguyen died peacefully on January 09, 2021

In Arlington, VA at the age of 71.

Chinh was born on October 19, 1949, in Ngoc Dong Hai Hung, Vung-Tau, Vietnam.

He married Nga Tuyet Tran. He was a retired barber

who enjoyed cooking, gardening, walking, going to church, and watching

Vietnamese music videos. Prior to his passing, he was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with

COVID-19. After 40 days in the ICU with numerous surgeries and treatment complications, he succumbed to the virus. He will always be remembered as a fighter for the people and ideas he cared about. He was a lovely person and will be profoundly missed by friend and family.

Chinh is survived by his step children Tam, Phuong, Minh, Lan, Trang and their spouses Thang Tran, Christian, Ngoc, Thang Lam and Khanh (VA); his brother, Thua Nguyen and his family (Holland); his sister, Nhi Nguyen, her husband and three children (CA & NY); grandchildren Steven, Bryan, Kaila, Jack, Vincent, Brandon, Vivian, Megan, David, Jacqueline, Lance, Kaden, and Katelyn (VA). His other nieces and nephews who loved and cherished him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lam Nguyen; mother, Ty Nguyen; and two brothers (Vietnam).

Due to COVID-19 and space limitations at the funeral home, there will not be a viewing or visitation. However, a formal burial ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at the National Memorial Park Cemetery in Falls Church, VA. We are not accepting flowers or donations, but would ask you to remember Chinh in your prayers.

The family would like to thank all of the ICU doctors and nurses at The Virginia Hospital Center for their dedication to making Chinh’s hospitalization more comfortable. Also, many thanks to all of our friends for sending notes of sorrow, sympathy, prayers, and memembrances. The family of Chinh Nguyen is being served by National Funeral Home at 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042.
