Dr. Earl Klioze, who recently passed away at the remarkable age of 87, leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and unforgettable memories. His life was filled with warmth and generosity, as seen in his thoughtful acts like gifting a Maltipoo puppy to Batel, Noah, Amarech, and Issayas, bringing joy to our family. He also nurtured their adventurous spirits by teaching  our children to ski, creating lasting moments on snowy slopes.
Dr. Klioze's humor was a cherished trait that brightened lives and uplifted everyone around him. His dedication extended beyond his personal connections; his loyalty and the trust he inspired are evident in the decades-long commitment of Amarech Worku, a dedicated employee at his dental practice. From the beginning of our  journey with him through a connection with Dr. Jack Zeller, to the many lives he touched, Dr. Klioze's impact resonates deeply.
Today marks the moment I found out about his passing, adding a sense of immediacy and poignancy to the loss of such a remarkable figure. He will always be remembered for the love, laughter, and meaningful experiences he shared, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of our children, colleagues, and friends who celebrated life's precious moments with him. Rest in Peace !!!

I'll always remember Earl as having the two key hallmarks of a consummate professional: skills, and confidence in his skills. The latter easily evolved into being a shared confidence once I met him. His caring personality and his comic side were addictive, and touched your life even more than his professionalism. Few people in life leave such a lasting and endearing impression on others, and I will miss him dearly.

Dr. Klioze was the finest DDS, ever vigilant to practice the Dentist’s Hippocratic Oath—
With his head: he chose the right approach when tackling problems and administering care; stressing  the importance of prevention, and practicing with sympathy and understanding!
With his words: he chose serious ones when necessary and funny ones when they were most needed!
With his hands: he combined the perfect blend of strength and gentleness that instilled in me confidence and trust in him!
I began missing Dr. Klioze when he began the transition toward retirement, always glad to hear his voice and see his face when he’d pop into the office.  And now I will miss him wholeheartedly – my sincerest condolences to his loved ones! 


Dr Klioze was the closest thing my brother and I had to a grandfather, and he always called us his grandkids 🥹 I have very fond memories with him teaching us how to ski as kids, and I’ll cherish those memories forever. I think about him every time I hit the slopes or get compliments on my teeth/smile 😄 he was so loved and a huge inspiration to me, I can only hope to live a life as full as his. Love you so much Dr Klioze, and I hope you rest easy 🤍🕊️

The many years I worked for Earl were always a treat. You never knew what he might come up with but especially for Halloween! He was THE best ET ever.  I send prayers and peace to Jeff, Scott and Emily.

What wonderful memories my wife and I have of Earl.!  Over 30 years - much laughter and kidding.

I sent a few photos, one of Joe and Me, the other of Joe when he was in the army with Earl at the Pentagon 1965. They had lots of laughs then and will continue now.

My condolences to the entire Klioze family. I swam with Earl for many years. He was 14 years older than me and frequently advised me that he was my role model and I should pay close attention.  I was very impressed when he took the challenge to ride across the United States. He will be missed

Very sad to hear about the lose of Earl. I knew him to be delightful person to be around. He will be sorely missed by all who knew Earl.

So sorry to hear of Dr. Earl's passing.  I doubt many people look forward to dental appointments, unless they were with Dr. Earl!  My visits were always entertaining and educational!  He was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  My deepest condolences to the Klioze family and everyone at the practice.  



One of the first people we met when we moved to Fairfax. My dad helped us move and cracked a tooth.  Neighbor recommended Dr Earl. That was 1982. Our friendship continued until he retired. thankfully that friendship has continued with his children.
