Dear Jim, John, Ed and Chris,
Your father was a very dear man and he will be greatly missed.  We were pleased and amazed that he came to his brother Jim's funeral in Florida a little over 4 years ago. We thank God for the wonderful Kenney brothers and the legacy they have left around this country.  
Our prayers for your healing and the repose of his soul.

Ned had a long and fruitful life with a wonderful wife and family. My son Justin were fortunate to have spent a pleasant afternoon in June with Ned and many of his family reminiscing about the past. I will cherish this memory of Ned. I hope to attend his final repose with Agnes at Arlington National Cemetery .

Sorry to learn about your father's death. He and your mom were great supporters to us when we ran cross country and track together at O'Connell all too many years ago. He had a good long life and I know he will be missed by many.

Uncle Ned was full of energy and humor. He served his county, loved his family, and had faith in God. He has earned his place in Arlington and heaven. We will miss him. Our prayers are with you at this sad time..

It seems like only a few weeks ago that your father was on the edge of the DJO track, cheering us all on.   A fine man, who we're all benefitted by having known.
I am sorry for your loss, but glad that you had him for so long.

You had a happy smile and twinkling eyes,
a jolly laugh and a big appetite.
You'd chase us round and round and pinch our necks
and jokingly call us dummkopf or nincompoop.
You loved making a big breakfast in the morning
with scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and juice.
In the afternoon you'd often sit quietly in your favorite arm chair 
reading a book or working crossword puzzles.
On weekends, you'd take Grandma and I to the mall
and patiently wait outside in the car.
Knowing we were up to no good-
finding sales and bargains and racking up the bill on your card.
I'll never forget the time we went to Kennebunkport.
We went out on a boat and you went swimming in the water
as I sat crying on an inner tube, afraid of all the bottom crawlers.
You laughed and teased me and dove under
and brought up tons of crabs and sand dollars.
You were a true Irishman, a real gentleman, and a devout Catholic -
always giving without expecting anything in return.
Just wanting to see our happy and smiling faces
You were always there for us,
trying to help us thrive and learn.
You were a skier, a golfer, a Navy Veteran
A loving husband, a wonderful father, and generous friend.
But most of all you were proud to be called
Grandpa.

We love you Grandpa!

I have such fond memories of Uncle Ned. His smile, great sense of humor, and love of family were second to none. It was always so nice to see his posts on Facebook...he was also very fortunate to have a family who could return the love and care that he so willingly gave to all who knew him.

Thank you to all the Family. As you know the Irish don't really mourn the passing of our elders as much as celebrate. My Father led a long and exciting life and was blessed in so many ways. He has re-joined our Mother for all eternity. May perpetual light shine upon them and may all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.
