Elizabeth Corlew Daniel

Elizabeth Florence Corlew Daniel of Nashville, Tennessee and McLean, Virginia, passed away quietly on May 18, 2020 at Fairfax Rehab and Nursing Center in Fairfax Virginia. She had celebrated her 104th birthday in March on face time with her children and grandchildren. She was a daughter of Robert Ewing Corlew and Mary Ann Leech Corlew of Dickson County, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Austin Peay State Teachers College, now Austin Peay University and had also taken courses at Peabody College. Before her marriage to James Eslick Daniel, she worked at First American Bank in Nashville. She was active in volunteer work, especially for Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, PTA, and church work. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Daniel Dunn (Bill), Dr. Eslick Ewing Daniel (Anne), and James Abbott Leech Daniel (Susan), seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, her sister, Sara Story, her brother, Dr. Robert Ewing Corlew, and several cousins. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
