Frances Mae Thompson, age 93, died on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in Arlington, VA. She was born February 23, 1924 in Arcola, VA to Fred and Annie Sue Byrne. Frances married Ray M. Thompson June 1, 1947 in Arcola VA. He preceded her in death September 15, 2011.
Frances is survived by brothers; Richard of Berryville, VA, Robert of Stanardville VA, Russell of Halifax, VA, sisters; Mamie of Manassas, VA and Mazie of Berryville, VA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by brothers; Ludwell of Arcola, VA, Roy of Berryville, VA and Keith of Bunker Hill WV and sisters; Josie of Hamilton, VA, Elizabeth of Berryville, VA and Lucille of Nokesville, VA.
Arrangements under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 West Broad St., Falls Church, VA 22046. Burial will immediately follow at National Memorial Park in Falls Church, Virginia.
