Gary graduated from Blissfield Community High School class of 1964. Following high school; he graduated from the University of Michigan on a ROTC scholarship. Then joined the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant, later promoted to 1st Lieutenant. After his military service he worked at the Pentagon for 35 years. After retiring from the Federal Government, he taught Mathematics at Bryant Alternative High School. He retired from Bryant after 10 years. He continued helping young people by tutoring for another 5 years.
Gary is survived by Paul Rocha, his partner of 29 years. He is also survived by his sister, Gloria Lippens and brother Julian Lippens, Jr.
There will be no service at this current time.
