While I never met Grace, I felt honored to be in the presence of those who did and feel blessed to have had the chance to  know her through their eloquent words today. Through your unconditional and unending love, you raised an amazing, courageous, kind, passionate, loving, talented and exceptionally beautiful young woman, both inside and out. You were outstanding parents. As Dean Cedric Rucker said, Grace was a gift to the world. Your daughter will never, ever be forgotten.  I pray for your comfort and peace during this very, very difficult time.

Unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure to know your family, but hearing about your loss has touched me profoundly.  As a mother myself and a teacher, I cannot imagine the shock and the grief that you are experiencing.  Just from reading articles about Grace, I know she  had and still has a beautiful soul and shared joy and love everywhere she went. Please accept my condolence and know my prayers are with you.

Grace, you will be missed. I will always remember your constant smile, and the way your presence lit up a room.
