Beloved husband of Barbara F. Hannett, died August 26, 2012, at a local health care facility. He was a retired LTC, US Army and a GS-15 Civil Service employee. He served in WWII in the South Pacific Theatre with Anti-aircraft units and the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C. as a transportation specialist and in strategic planning. He is survived by his present wife, five children, 15 grand children, and nine great grand children. Services will be held at Ft. Myer Old Post Chapel at 8:45am Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Interment Arlington National Cemetery. Please arrive at Ft. Myer Old Post Chapel by 8:15am.
