Dr. Golomb was my dermatologist for about ten years.  I had severe eczema as a child and teen and he was the best doctor I’d ever been to.  He was kind and generous. He’d give me a lot of samples so I could have relief from itching while my prescriptions were being filled.  I remember him just being compassionate and knowledgeable regarding caring for my skin.  I will never forget him. He literally changed my life.  Rest well.

Dr. Golomb was a terrific doctor. He diagnosed an allergy I have that was presenting as a skin issue. I followed up with an allergist who told me that Dr. Golomb was the best diagnostician in Northern Virginia. My condolences to his family and friends but please know that he helped a lot of people and that is his legacy. 

Dr. Golomb was a incredibly and exceptional amazing doctor! He knew what he was doing when it came to dermatology and for skin and hair growth! I found the pomade he specifically made for my mother and myself and I am so happy for my soft skin and healthy hair growth! Thank you Dr. Golomb and R.I.P.!

The reason for my email is to let you know of the fine work and exceptional expertise of Dr. Herbert S. Golomb! He was my late Mother's and my dermatologist back in the early 1970's! He is absolutely meticulous and amazing at knowing the ins and outs of the dermatology and medical needs of his patients! He helped my late mom and I with thinning hair and skin problems. Dr. Golomb even made us a special compound of hair formula to make it grow and our skin healthy and smooth and soft again and I still use his special regimen of taking care of my skin and hair! We long since lost touch with Dr. Golomb but never forgot what a amazing and special doctor he is and will always be and I sing his praise's! I'm a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp over 40 year's ago and I took with me to Boot Camp Dr. Golomb special haircare formula and my hair was absolutely beautiful and healthy! I'm 61 year's old now and my hair has changed with age and I use to keep it short because I could manage it better and now I'm letting it grow again and if you could at all possibly, I would like to know if you could find out what Dr. Golomb used to make my hair grow and healthy again and also my late mom and use to use relaxers and perms and Dr. Golomb insisted vigorously and requested that we never ever put chemicals in our hair ever again and no pressing comb's! I realize he's retired now but I know that someone is still using his hair care formula today and I hope that I'm not being too presumptuous but I feel like a Doctor like Dr. Golomb and his specialty and experience didn't go to waste! My name is Rosetta Marie Archie and I knew Dr. Herbert S. Golomb since I was 14 year's old, my late Mom and myself use to visit his office when he was located in SW Washington, D.C. in the early 1970's!
He was absolutely meticulous and extremely professional with his expertise in hair and skin care for men and women. He helped my mom and I with our problem with hair and skin sensitivity!
Dr. Golomb was a doctor from the ole school day's and he was absolutely no nonsense and tolerated no silly or lack of understanding what he asked you to do for your personal dermatology care!
He gave prompt response and attention to details when giving his medical services!
Finally, I'm a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp and I took with me to Boot-camp my hair care formula that Dr. Golomb prescribed for me! My hair grew and was easy to manage and he told me and my Mom, no more chemicals or pressing our hair with the hot comb! When he spoke with you you'd had better listened to what he said because he was serious about his work! He was definitely the Very Best!
They don't make Doctors like him anymore and I would like to add one more thing and that's Dr. Golomb was a fine and decent human being and a man of an amazing quality and he surely will be missed by all who knew him! May he R.I.P.!
