Services will be at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, September 30th, 2013, at 1:00 PM.  Please be at the administration building no later than 12:30 PM.

Weare very sorry. She moved in not long after we arrived to the neighborhood, and I remember how she took care of her grand-daughter even after her husband's death. We will miss her.

Mrs. R loved to cook, make beautiful beaded jewelry, and grow tomatoes every summer.  Mrs. R loved animals both domestic and wild!  These are fond memories and I am grateful to have shared and known Mrs. R.

I was sad to hear about the passing of Mrs. Rogers, a neighbor. Mrs. Rogers seemed to love all animals, especially her little dogs, and the foxes in the neighborhood. Rest in peace Mrs. Rogers.

My neighbor and dear friend, Jan Rogers, died last week.  Her wishes were that she be interred with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.  Arlington is quite busy, so it may be two months before the Scheduling Officer contacts Murphy Funeral Home to set a date.  We expect the brief ceremony will take place in the early spring.  There will be a reception afterward for her loved ones, friends, and neighbors.  When we have details we will share them here.
