Jorge Herbas

Has joined our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 28th at INOVA Hospital. He worked at St. Luke Catholic Church as a building engineer for 17 years. He just recently retired in June of this year. He was an advisor to the Bishop for almost 3 years of the Church of Latter day Saints, and has been a member for 23 years. He has dedicated so much of his time to his family and friends. He proudly served as a Lieutenant in the Bolivian Air Force. His living survivors are his wife of 40 years Carmen Herbas, father of Michael, Vanessa, Mauricio and Sissi Herbas, grandfather to Nathaniel Herbas, Paula and Natalie Swenor and Leo Felipe Herbas. He also left behind his siblings Martha Beatriz H de Olaguivel, Maria Estela Herbas, Maria Luisa H de Castro, Hortencia H de Orozco, Carmen Sonia H de Rosas, Jose Antonio Herbas and Oscar Herbas.

The viewing (wake) will be Friday, November 1st from 7-9pm @ The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2034 Great Falls St., Falls Church, VA 22043 The service to celebrate his life:

Saturday, November 2nd from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the same Church.

The Funeral (Burial) will be at Noon @ National Memorial Park (King David Memorial Gardens) 7482 Lee Highway Falls Church, VA 22042.
