

Of Fairfax, Virginia on Friday, January 10, 2014. Judy, 74, is survived by loving her husband, Colonel Philip J. Walsh USMC (Ret.), their four loving children, Michael, Kathleen, Mary Beth, and Megan, and nine loving grandchildren, Kierra, Travis, Jake, Sophia, Ben, Renee, Isabelle, Molly and Henry. Judy was born to Agnes and Roman Schaefer in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, attended Marquette University, and was a lifelong dental hygienist as well as an accomplished seamstress, knitter, quilter, and craftswoman. The family will receive relatives and friends at Murphy Funeral Homes, 1102 W. Broad St., Falls Church, Virginia from 3 to 6 pm with a Rosary being held at 5:00 pm with offering of remembrance of Judy by family and friends to follow on Friday, January 17, 2014. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 3700 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, Virginia at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 18th. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions in Judy’s name be made to the Arthritis Foundation to help advance research on rheumatoid arthritis,
