This afternoon "The Trumps Family" received in the mail:
A sympathy card from Mrs. Bruce.
A gift from Kenny and Jeanie.
A postcard of thanks from Gabriel.
A notice from St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Catonsville, MD informing us that Uncle Billy made a "generous donation" towards building renovations at the nursing home in Mom's name. Uncle Billy is also having masses said for Mom at St. Joseph's.


Kitty was such a wonderful woman - generous, understanding, willing to listen, and always a lot of fun.  She was a dear friend of James' mom (Mary Ann).  Now, they can both be looking down on us from heaven.  Also, she was always so thoughtful and kind to our dear brother, Howard. Maty and I will treasure the memories of the times we spent gathered around her dinner table.  She will be missed by all.  Certainly, hers was a life well lived.

I didn’t respond (after receiving obit) bc I just needed denial for a little bit longer. I have been out of town and still am. I rarely see her but when I’m home I walk by the house and look for her through the door and windows. Every once in a while we’d holler to each other haha. Oh Kitty I will miss you more than words could ever say. Just knowing she was there meant so much to me. Love that Kitty voice!!!

Gail - I loved your mom very much.  She became a dear friend.  She was so full of light and love, especially for her family.  I’m so sorry for your family’s loss - you all were her light.  I’m sure she will have a beautiful eternal life with your dad and God.  She was the most Christian person, and always full of love and laughter.  She enriched the life of everyone she met.

Dear Keith and family, I cannot tell you how sorry I am about your mom’s passing. I would see her at the noon daily Mass at St. Michael’s, and if we didn’t talk, we would at least look at each other and throw a little wave.  I am shocked to learn that she was 90! Know that she will be in my prayers, as will all of you.  Eternal Rest grant unto her O LORD, and may Perpetual Light shine upon her. May God bless you and grant you His Peace.

Sending love and prayers to the Trumps family after the loss of the incomparable Grandma Kitty. She was truly one of a kind! So caring, so thoughtful, with such a servant's heart. As a friend of her beloved granddaughter, Shannon McKinstrie, I have many great (and mostly hilarious) memories of Kitty. She will be greatly missed and remembered fondly
