To the Koneczny family, 
     Please except my deep sympathy in the passing of your loving family member, Kurt.  I only met him a couple of times, but I feel I know him through a special friendship with his sister Debbie.  My prayers are with everyone, especially his adorable sons Josh and Jake.  May you rest in the peace of knowing God has Kurt in His kingdom and he is watching over you.  God Bless you all.

I have fond memories of boating and water skiing with Kurt and his dad back in the late 80's on the Potomac river.
He was always kind, soft spoken and fun to be around.  Always making one feel comfortable and appreciated with his welcoming smile.

The Koneczny Family in Kansas sends our loving sympathies to all our family in Virginia for the terrible loss of our nephew Kurt, who has now gone to heaven with his father Lenn, who passed away months ago. We wish that we all could be there to comfort each other. Our hearts are broken to be so far away from our family. Please know that you all are on our minds and in our hearts. Kurt was a cool and fun loving big brother!  From riding dirt bikes to riding in his green mustang, I have so many great memories.  Thank you for teaching me to swim, playing Mystery Date and cards with me.  I will forever remember vacations at Nag's Head and our Christmas Eve traditions.  I will love you always!    Dena

Kurt,
You were the older cousin I looked up to and admired. You were always so cool and full of life. Thank you for letting me tag along being a roadie for the band. I smile every time I think of you hiding me under the mixing table when police came by to check IDs since I was under age. I enjoyed you being at the shop to work on your most current project. We would always end up at Tippy's Taco for lunch. Remember when we rode your Kawasaki to Nags Head to meet the family for vacation? We didn't quite make it in one piece. We were so skinned up we couldn't get in that salty ocean. I developed my love for Harleys when you brought your brand new Springer Softail around and told me to take it for a spin. It only had 300 miles and I was so nervous I'd wreck it. You stood beside me and said, Don't worry Eddy, I've got full coverage. Remember the Chevelle? .Well  maybe better not to. You are somehow involved in all the memories of my fun carefree youth.
I especially thank you for being there for me during a very difficult time in my life. You invited me to hang out with you at Aqua Creek to cheer me up. What a blast we had when you tried teaching me to knee board while you pulled me behind your jet ski. I regret never telling you how much that meant to me. You were a special person. I love you and miss you.

Jake & Josh, I did not directly know your father.  Your Aunt Deborah has always spoken very dearly of him.   A special bond and love that siblings share.  My prayers are with both of you and your family.

I had known Kurt Koneczny for 18 years through Virginia Imports. He became my friend and my mentor. He taught me what I know now. He has taught me to look on the bright side of things. What keeps me going is knowing that in addition to my Lord: I have someone to watch over me. Making my life bearable at Virginia Imports. One thing I know about Kurt is he cared about his family and had great passion for life and love for people. He has always there to lend a helping hand, made other people's problems his own. He has a big heart. You will never be missed. Your legacy will live  on at Virginia Imports a place you call  home. I pray that the Good Lord be with you till we meet again. My Teacher, supporter ,mentor and friend.

I have worked with Kurt for more than 29 years, His loyal tee and dedication to get the job done was number one! He was an asset in the growth of our company, working by himself at the start  in twelve thousand sq. ft., pulling, packing and delivering. Kurt Koneczny was a great work friend for 28 years.  He was like a bad boy brother to me and I had lots of fun during our daily banters.  A great guy lost way too soon, he will me missed.

To the Koneczny family,
I had known Kurt for 25 years through Virginia Imports and will remember our chats about motorcycles, cars, as well as other interests.  Mostly, his love of his family and especially his sons come to mind.  I send my deepest sympathy to you at this time of grief.
