Potomac Ridge resident and mother of Renee Resnick, Leona Pick passed away on
July 29, 2012. Born on June 27, 1914, she lived a long and productive life. Arriving here on August 13, 1939 as a refugee of World War II, she loved her America. All her early years were lived in New York where she raised her children and ultimately owned and operated a women’s dress shop, Leona Pick Fashions.
She was a loving wife to her Robert, mother to Renee Resnick, Kathleen deChiara (Enzo), Leonard Pick (Patricia), grandmother to Scott (Suzanne) and Richard (Christine) Resnick, Michael deChiara and Francesca (Victor) Atkins, Rachel and Anna Pick; great grandmother to Bailey and Campbell Resnick and Lillian and Luke Atkins.
She was adored and appreciated for her “wonderfulness” by all that knew her. She will be missed.
Funeral services will be private.
