

Marge passed away peacefully in her home on September 23rd. She is survived by Bonnie and Bob Walsh, Chantilly, VA and Rich and Fran Becker, Annapolis, MD and her sister, Nora Jean Corcoran. Her son, Bob (Kathleen) predeceased her in December 2014. She and her late husband, Clarence E. Becker, were married for 65 years before his death in 2009.
Marge was very proud of her ten grandchildren: Kevin (Monica) Darnell, Debbie (Bobby) Clark, Ann Marie (Tom) Fennelly, Mary K (Rudy) Laczkovich, Maureen (Chris) Bradham, Kerry (Adam) Lederman, Jen (Colin) Denney, Mike (Emily) Becker, Brian (Melanie) Becker, Kate Becker and 27 great-grandchildren.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 1, 1921, Marge lived with her family in Northern Virginia since 1947. For 25 years she was a volunteer at Bishop Denis J. O’Connell High School, ending her career as school registrar. Marge was a fabulous cook and hostess whose dinner parties were legendary.
Marge’s family is very grateful for the loving and compassionate care she received from Victoria Mendoza and Susette Garner.
A visitation, beginning at 10:30 a.m. will precede the Mass of Christian Burial, starting at 11:30 a.m., at St. Mark Catholic Church in Vienna, VA on Wednesday, September 28th. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests contributions be made in her memory to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) in honor of her first great-grandson, Sean Fennelly, P.O.
