Mrs. Pourhamidi was an accomplished Laboratory scientist in microbiology at the University of Tehran. She was a devoted wife to her husband Dr. Hamidi; loving mother to her two sons and their spouses, Vahid and Tiffany of Arizona, Farid and Melissa of Pennsylvania, and her daughter and spouse; Farnaz and Habib of Maryland. She is survived by her adoring granddaughters, Mindy, Emily, Lexi, Roya, Jasmine, Parissa, Alyssa and Sophie.
Mrs. Hamidi will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and devotion to her family.
A graveside service for Mehrtous will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042.
