

Born on June 25, 1925, in Esfahan, Iran, to Mohammad Karim and Zahra Arshadi, Hossein grew up and was educated in Esfahan. He earned his degree from the University of Esfahan and, in 1953, married the love of his life, Fakhri Arshadi.
Hossein dedicated over 50 years of his life to education as a high school Principal. Beyond the classroom, he was deeply committed to helping others. He volunteered with many community organizations and played a key role in creating educational opportunities for working adults and military members through evening and night programs that helped countless people earn their degrees.
Hossein’s love of Persian culture was clear from the moment you met him, whether it was reciting literature, writing poetry, or reading from famous poets such as Hafiz and Saadi, the language of his home was a constant companion.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Fakhri, and his siblings, Ozra, Hassan, and Batool Arshadi.
He is survived by his children Faranak Arshadi, Saeed Arshadi, Fariman Arshadi, and Sanaz Arshadi; and his grandchildren Nina Arshadi, Robert Arshadi, Sherina Shamsa, Nima Shamsa, Keemia Mesforush, and Kian Mesforush.
Pallbearers will be Saeed Arshadi, Robert Arshadi, Mamal Mesforush, Nima Shamsa, Kian Mesforush, and Navid Shahraki.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Farhad Jamali for his dedicated medical care and compassionate support over the years.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at National Funeral Home in Falls Church, Virginia. Burial will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to National Funeral Home.
