

Born in Martinsburg, West Virginia, she moved to Falls Church Virginia after College. She lived in Northern Virginia until 5 years ago, when she moved to the district.
Nancy received a Bachelor’s degree from Sheppard College (now university) and a Master’s degree from James Madison University. She worked as the librarian at George Mason High School from 1954 and retired in 1987 after working for 30 years at the school and raising 4 children. After retirement she was active as a volunteer at Fair Oaks Hospital, Reston interfaith, and with various home owners’ associations.
She married Anthony (Tony) DePasquale in 1956 and they remained married until his death in 2013. Preceding her in death was her beloved son Stephen in 2016. Tony and Nancy raised their family in Vienna. She was also an active member of OLGC parish for many years and went on pilgrimages to Fatima, Lourdes, and the Holy Land. With Tony she traveled a great deal to see this country and the world.
After our father’s death she moved to their son Tom’s house and became an integral part of Tom and Rafik’s family.
Nancy is survived by her sons and their partners, - John and Debra, Tom and Rafik, Charles and Supin. She has 6 grandchildren, - John (Saylem), Michael (Melissa), Laura, David, Luke and Leana, along with 3 great grandchildren Stella, Leah and Vincent.
