Nho Huynh Truong

Nho Truong, age 94, passed away peacefully overnight in her sleep on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Leewood Healthcare Center in Annandale, Virginia. She was born on September 19, 1924 in Guangdong, China and married in Saigon, Vietnam to Quoc Truong (deceased) at the young age of 16 & became a mother at 17. She was a very hard working woman. She endured so many hardships in her life but she never ever stopped loving and caring. She devoted her entire life to serving her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and just about anyone that crossed her path. If you were around her, you would know that she was an exceptionally kind woman and a great cook! She giggled at your jokes and pranks, and she cared about you and always put your needs first. Her greatest joys in life were taking care of everyone & eating Asian food. Nho Truong’s wonderful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family and friends.  She is survived by four sons (Duc Truong, Nam Truong, Ton Truong, & Thanh Truong) who currently reside in Virginia, USA, one son (Ha Truong) and two daughters (Anh Huynh & Muoi Truong) in Saigon, Vietnam, and many many grandchildren and great grandchildren near and far. Her wishes are to be cremated and have her ashes brought to Saigon, Vietnam to be with her beloved husband’s ashes at a Chinese Buddhist temple. May you rest in peace, Nho Truong/Mom/Grandma/Great-grandma! We love you very very much! Our hearts are empty except for the footprints you’ve left behind. ❤️🧡💛 A visitation for Nho will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 14, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. A cremation will occur at 12:00 PM.
