Obituary of Olga Leticia Aparicio
On January 17, 2023, Olga Leticia Aparicio, loving sister and cousin, passed away. Olga was born on January 30, 1958, in San Miguel, El Salvador to Berta Marina Quiteño and Leonidas Aparicio. She received her Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de El Salvador in 1984, where she graduated at the top of her class and as the sole female graduate of the program for that year. Olga immigrated to the United States in 1985, where her passion thrived in advancing knowledge and understanding of telecommunications and other emerging technologies. She started her professional career as an engineer in Texas Instrument, El Salvador. Subsequently, when she moved to Virginia she joined the NEC Corporation of America, Cable & Wireless PLC and Noblis Inc, where she worked until early 2022, as a Solutions Architect. Her business travels took her to Japan and throughout Europe, presenting her work at Telecommunications conferences. Olga had a great love for her family and friends, with whom she enjoyed spending time celebrating their success and achievements. She loved traveling and enjoyed going to the movies with family and friends. She was an avid reader and known for her quick wit, her infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit. Olga was preceded in death by her father, Leonidas, and her mother, Berta. She is survived by her sisters, brother, several cousins, nieces, and nephews. The visitation will be held at National Funeral Home & National Memorial Park on January 26, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Burial service will take place at National Funeral Home & National Memorial Park on January 30, 2023, at 11 a. m.
