Patricia L. McMahon

Of Mclean, VA died on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. A native Washingtonian, she was born on March 10, 1929. Preceded in death by her brother James A. Livesay, sister Anna Lee L. Schworck and grandson Jacob McMahon. Survived by sister, Joyce L. Barr; sons, Michael (Marilyn), Patrick (Elizabeth) and Brian (Mary) McMahon; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

She married John B. McMahon in 1951 and she received her B.S. degree in 1952 from Wilson Teacher's College. They were stationed in Cypress, Turkey and Germany. She taught school at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, Churchill Road Elementary and Frankfurt, Germany. Patricia was a member of Sweet Adelines and a teacher of ESL.

Always creative, loving and compassionate, her curiosity and interests inspired us. In this spirit, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice in her name.
